How to create an account
Creating an account on SpotMyVenue is simple. Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner, enter your email address, create a secure password, and choose your account type. You can sign up as a "Customer" to search and book venues, or as a "Venue Owner" to list your properties. After registration, verify your email address to activate your account.
Understanding account types
SpotMyVenue offers two account types: Customers can browse, search, and book venues for their events. Venue Owners can list their properties, manage availability, and handle booking inquiries. You can switch between account types anytime from your profile settings if your needs change.
Navigating the platform
Our platform is designed for easy venue discovery. Use the main search bar to find venues by location, event type, or venue name. Apply filters to narrow results by price range, guest capacity, amenities, and availability. Save your favorite venues for quick access later.
Making your first booking
To book a venue, start by searching for venues that match your event requirements. View detailed venue profiles with photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing. Use the availability calendar to check open dates, then click "Contact Owner" to send an inquiry. The venue owner will respond with availability confirmation and booking details.
